Top High School Hockey Prospects
It is currently a very exciting time in the world of hockey, particularly in high school. Currently, there are several high school hockey players who could turn into big NHL stars. Two of these athletes include Brandon Saad and J.T. Miller.
Brandon Saad is a 6-foot-2, 211 pound winger for the Ontario Hockey League's Saginaw Spirit from Gibsonia who is projected as one of the top five draft picks for the 2011 NHL draft. He is the number two draft pick by NHL Central Scouting, which is a junior hockey league, and the number five draft pick from Red Line Report. If he is indeed in the top five, this would make him the first person born in the U.S. to achieve this honor since Zach Bognosian in 2008 when the Atlanta Thrashers selected him third.
J.T. Miller is another potential prospect for the 2011 NHL draft. He is a seventeen year old forward who currently plays for USA Hockey's National Team Development Program team of under eighteen year olds, which is located in Ann Arbor. This young man is projected as a first round draft pic, and he is the number two prospect for NHL Central Scouting.
Brandon Saan and J.T. Miller are two very talented hockey athletes who could potentially have bright futures in hockey. If they are selected for the 2011 NHL draft, they could make serious headlines in the world of NHL. They are serious contenders for their opponents if they continue to improve.
